The restaurant food is fabulous. The best we experienced in the 34 days were were travelling Europe.
Although the hotel is right on the Rhein, it is a bit away from the city of Koblenz. We took a cab from hotel to main train station for 7 Euro, so not that expensive.

The hotel is right beside the Rhein River, the view is really cool and relax but a bit far away from the town center. Rooms are neat and tidy. Staff there are friendly and nice.
The location is a bit remote from the Town Center.

The hotel is located right down by the edge of the Rhine, offering a fantastic view of the river. It is also conveniently situated to visit the entire region, with a walking/bike trail right in front for exploring. the rooms are clean and quaint, with some offering beautiful views across the Rhine towards the town of Koblenz. the owner is friendly and speaks excellent English, providing great service such as setting up bike rentals and arranging taxis. the breakfasts are delicious and served in a room overlooking the Rhine.
The TV channels in the room were limited and did not match the channel lineup provided.

I liked Frau Schmidt and Herr Merkelbach. He was most kind when due to a mistake with my booking I had to find alternative accommodation for the following night. I really enjoyed staying there with the view out over the Rhine and the dining room overlooking the river.

We loved our room with windows that opened up to the Rhein. We loved the convenience of the restaurant, the exceptional seasonal menu, and the friendliness of the staff. We walked into the old city of Koblenz via a lovely path along the river and a quick walk over the bridge It was close to everywhere we wanted to be yet far enough away to be peaceful. Even though we knew very little German, the owner, Claus was most helpful and made our stay that much more enjoyable.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a large balcony overlooking the river. The staff were nice and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location of the hotel was great, directly across the river from the river cruise ship we took the next day. We enjoyed a delicious and satisfying breakfast each morning, fueling us for the day ahead.
All was perfect, no improvements needed.

It was a good hotel for our overnight stop over. We enjoyed dinner downstairs in the evening whilst still being able to use the baby monitor. The food and staff (all except one!) were excellent. We would recommend the hotel and plan on returning for a longer break to see more of the town.

We stayed at this hotel only 1 night and really liked it. It’s a bit of a hike from the town centre (about 20 minutes’ walk) but we knew this so we were not bothered; it is located by the Rhine in a quiet area; the weather was nice and having the evening dinner on the terrace overlooking the river was a very pleasant and romantic experience (the food was good as well). The hosts were smiling and the bedroom quite comfortable, we’d stay here again and recommend this hotel especially to couples looking for a romantic weekend / city break.

This hotel offers great value for money, especially considering its location directly across the river from where we took a river cruise the next day. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the Rhine, and the view was absolutely stunning. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, despite their limited English. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, and we enjoyed starting our day with a view of the river.
No improvements needed, everything was just right.

Rated as a 3 star but more of a 2 star hotel.Rooms were outdated and very small.

The views of the river from the room were breathtaking, especially from the sitting deck outside. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to river cruises and nearby attractions. The food in the restaurant was delicious, adding to the overall enjoyable experience of the stay.
The rooms were a bit small and lacked air conditioning, making it slightly uncomfortable at night. The beds were also not ideal for sharing, as they were twin beds fastened together.

We liked that the hotel was right on the Rhine and just a 25 minute walk from Deutsche Eck and the old town.
The gentleman who was there when we booked in was very nice indeed but the woman who was there on Monday and Tuesday was not at all friendly. After a river cruise, we RAN all the way back to the hotel for dinner and the woman refused to serve us because it was 8:45pm even though the restaurant was open till 9:00pm. She was extremely rude about it and, as a result, I would not consider staying at this hotel again. There are plenty more along the Rhine with, I am sure, a far friendlier staff.

Excellent restaurant at this hotel, we enjoyed our evening meal on the first night also the breakfasts. The rooms were comfortable and we could look out over the Rhein and see the boats go by.
The restaurant is closed after breakfast on a Monday and we were only told about this on Monday morning. The barges are a bit noises during the early hours if you are a light sleeper.
